Riverdale attic renovation
This project transformed the unused attic space in a 110 year old house into a cozy TV room with an exposed brick wall. A modern and space-saving custom spiral staircase was installed in a 36" bedroom closet directly below. Beams were added in the ceiling for support and overall aesthetic.
1970s condominium floor-to-ceiling renovation
This mid-town condo hadn't been updated since it was built in 1978. The kitchen was completely gutted and a non-load-bearing wall was removed to create a modern, open-concept space with a beautiful custom gourmet kitchen. The original parquet floors were refinished, patio doors and panel windows were upgraded, and all of the closet and interior doors were replaced. The dated "popcorn" ceiling was smoothed over. A powder room off the master bedroom was expanded to create a full bathroom with a custom glass walk-in shower, and the main bathroom was fully updated. This condo eventually sold for the highest price recorded in the building's 35-year history, and the new owners love their beautiful new unit.
